Buying Plants Online
Included in this page are several reputable online garden plant suppliers. If you have never bought plants online before you will soon find that it is just as easy as buying anything else. Some of the nurseries may only send out plants during the dormant season (winter months), others will send them out at any time of year.
If you are buying one of my ready-made border schemes you will have to shop around to get all the plants. Limiting a border scheme to the plants found in any one nursery or garden centre could be done but I didn't want these designs to be limited in this way. All the plants in these schemes are available from the suppliers listed on this site.
This may suit you, as buying all the plans in one go might not be realistic; take your time over it, enjoy shopping around. Perhaps even build up the border over a couple of seasons - why not? Once you have a plan to work to you can let the garden develop over time.
Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit
Throughout my designs I like to use plants that are recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society and received the Award of Garden Merit.
The Royal Horticultural Society's AGM is awarded only to plants that are:
› excellent for ordinary garden use
