Impressionist Border - (5mx2m)

This is a border with a painterly feel about it. This art movement has many elements that translate well into the herbaceous border. There are dabs of colour, harmonious combinations and plants that capture the light.

This is mainly a border of perennials with a some roses and grasses. Flowering starts in June and lasts through to Autumn.

Nine out of the sixteen species in this border have been given the Award of Garden Merit by the RHS. To execute the plan will cost approximately £400.

Garden requirements

Full sun and a moist well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter is required for this border.
